ABOUT NON-WOVEN FELTS & FABRICS
Needle punched felt is formed by converting webs of either continuous filament
or staple fibre polyester into a non-woven fabric by needling through the web and locking the
fibres together to achieve a desired thickness and density. Needled felt is commonly made from
wool, synthetic, and other re-processed fibers in a dry mechanical method. Needle-punched PET is
available in various fabric weights & widths and in various colours.
Thermal bonded batting is manufactured using a heat process to bond fibers
together without the use of acrylic resin. These products are non-allergenic and will not
support the growth of mold or mildew. They can be laundered or dry cleaned with no shrinkage. It
is suitable for all home, hospital, textile and hospitality uses. is a type of wadding material
that is designed to withstand high temperatures without melting, shrinking, or discolouring. The
thermal bonding process creates strong, durable fabrics that are lightweight due to the use of
thermoplastic fibers and the efficient bonding process. Thermal bonding ensures uniform fabric
structure and consistent properties. It is highly acclaimed for their ultimate strength,
durability and high tear strength.
